You know it.
You’re plugging along
and you put in a reveal.
A great place to end a chapter!
I’m not just talking cliffhangers.
I’m talking “Oooooohhhhh” kinds of info,
as in, “Oooooohhhhh, I see…hmmmm…
That ties into that, and…”
Reveals bring forward thinking.
“What are the implications for this revealed information?”
(Fancy words for, “What’s going to happen next?”)
(It keeps the reader reading.)
(I’m working on some now.)
In order to pull off good reveals,
it takes some good chapter outlining.
(Knowing your chapter’s goal and
what you’re going to reveal.)
(And, once again,
we find that intentional writing —
and living —
is a good idea.)
